"Wonderful breakfast, lovely room. A bit of mix up regarding city tax that was collected upon checking in and again at check out. No one informed us the tax was per night. I would have thought all taxes would have been collected at check in."

"Sofitel is directly across from the Athens airport. The staff secured a cart for me to transport my luggage from the hotel. It was literally less than 10 minutes door to the airline check in counter. I found the restaurant expensive compared to the various restaurants I dined in during my 5 weeks in Greece. The mushroom soup was delicious. "

"This review is actually for Katikies Santorini in Oia where we were switched to by the Katikies group because of some unfinished renovations at the Chromata hotel. Because of the change our room was upgraded to Superior accommodation free of charge! Our stay was between May 3-10 to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and all I can say is that the experience was amazing! The hotel was immaculate. "The hotel was very convenient- walkable to the ferry system as well as excellent restaurants and museums in Heraklion. The breakfast was lovely and rooms and common areas beautiful. The staff in the dinner restaurant were wonderful but there were better and more interesting nearby choices to eat dinner meals. "

Breathtaking views from the room and the property were amazing and although it is walkable to the touristic Oia- if you are able to walk a half mile uphill- it is not right in the midst of the chaos there. Thus makes it very relaxing to be on the hotel property with convenient and nearby exciting choices for shopping and dining."
