"A lovely stay in a great area near the Historic District. Staff was wonderful!"

"Hotel room was extremely dirty. No one vacuum the room. The walls had dirt all over them. The countertop was never wiped down there was dried up food on the counter. We got there late or I would have left to find something else. Pillows were very old and flat but the sheets were clean. We slept and got out of there as fast as we could. One shining star was the Auditor he was a very nice person with good customer service. "

"Specious home to enjoy time with family. 25 min form Fredericksburg VA and 1.25 hours from DC. Check out the marines museum which is free and 20 minutes away. "

"We stayed for a week and loved it. The size and layout of the home worked great for us, and having a playground in the backyard (plus another one around the corner, 3 minute walk) was an added bonus! We would definitely stay again. Host was very responsive and supportive before, during and after our stay."

"Ok, of course the place was built in 1797. The title above reflects the not the house but the interior. The beds are dressed with old linens, old mattresses and old pillows. The homeowner left 2 towels for us(2 people) to use over a 3 night visit. Overall the property was very charming, with a great setting, but if your looking for fresh, clean and plush, look elsewhere."
