「It was ok」

「I thing good hotel. And I can buy some foods at supermarket before the hotel. 」

「Arrived early so knew room wouldn't be ready. Had a nice glass of wine and chilled out in the relaxing bar area」

「A really large bed and tv with plenty of choice . Blackout blinds and an extra fan to combat the hot weather .No real room service though and no on site staff to chat with, although plenty of info of who to contact for any issues . I found the room door lock fiddly at first but then realised that you have to run your fingers all over it to activate it and light it up. Once that happens then enter your code and you are in . Really good shower but the dispensers could have done with being topped...

「As a place to stay it was okay. There was no restaurant as it is being renovated, luckily there was a good Indian restaurant virtually opposite. Parking is £3 per 24 hours unless included in your booking. Breakfast was okay but mainly carbs. Would I stay there again probably not」

「Looks good on the outside, but once inside the room it is very dated and dark. Room cleanliness was poor, long term dust in places. Shower head needs a good scrubbing. The food in the restaurant was very good, as was the breakfasts. On our 2nd night there was a wedding on with a late disco. Fortunately we couldn't hear the music in the room. However we were woken at 1.00 am by groups of people going to their rooms making lots of noise. We won't be back.」

「Great communication as a self check in with a lock box, plenty of private parking next to the accommodation. Carlton Towers has a tea room within walking distance which was convenient. Room was big with everything we needed for 2 nights. Would recommend and stay again if back in the area.」

「Excellent stay at the Briarcroft Hotel. We needed a place near the wedding venue we attended and this was right on the doorstep. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the staff were very attentive when needed. The continental breakfast was very nice, orange juice, cereal, toast. Parking right outside the hotel. Everything we needed was right there including local shops, bars and restaurants. We will definitely use this place again」

「Beautiful property in a beautiful village. Very large beer garden, large bathroom with a bath (instead of a standard shower). They provided a fan to partially compensate for lack of A/C (during a record breaking heatwave), but wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if ever in South Yorkshire. Easy FREE parking.」
