「We stayed in a Yurt and it was definitely GLAMPING!! We were really impressed with how modern, clean, and stylish it was. The only drawback was that it was close to a major road, so in the early morning we could hear trucks, which were very loud.」

The room was comfortable if a bit sparse, but staying here is about enjoying the local hospitality and nature, so not about hanging out in the room. The food at the restaurant was great and the staff very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel for a trip to the Island. Whale watching was a great experience in late Sept and we thoruoghly enjoyed our day and a half there.」

「My Daughter came from Ontario with her boyfriend. They stayed in one of the suites that felt like you were in an apartment. Bedroom was a separate room with a TV. Two doors led to the bathroom. The living area was a separate room s well and had plenty of space. There were a table, chairs, couch, coffee table, two rocking chairs, kitchenette and all of the amenities as if your in your own home! What a delight! 「The room was comfortable. The continental breakfast was fine. Really this older; yet, refurbished motel was comfortable and clean. So, 5 star except for: would have liked a sheet change every 2 days; but, no sheet change during our 4 day stay, only 1 window to open in the unit, and couldn't since it had no screen, intermittently loud refrigerator had to be shut off at night. Didn't care for heavy bed spread, since doubted it was washed often. Otherwise, fabulous responsive owner, great location...
