We stayed in a Yurt and it was definitely GLAMPING!! We were really impressed with how modern, clean, and stylish it was. The only drawback was that it was close to a major road, so in the early morning we could hear trucks, which were very loud.
We had an amazing stay in the dome. It was spotless, modern, and cozy. The campground itself is calm and quiet, exactly the peaceful escape we needed. We watched the stars, heard blue jays in the morning, and enjoyed a perfect campfire. The owners were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to bring us firewood, letting us pay the next day. Truly kind people. There was a bit of noise from the nearby highway, but it didn’t take away from the experience at all. Still a full 5 out of 5.
They pay special attention to your needs here. I stayed for a night because I was catching the next ferry in the morning. I slept in one of their inflatable tents and had a great night's rest.
The next morning, they were so kind to make fresh coffee BEFORE they opened the office for the day (because they knew i was leaving early). They saw me throwing my garbage out into the bins and the lady came out of her trailer to get the coffee pot going in the office for me. The kindest couple and a great little affordable, clean, and comfy spot to stop in.
This is where i'll sleep whenever I'm back in the area again :)
Thousand thanks! Xx
Room was clean. Had everything! A/C, heater, fridge, even tv! Beds were comfortable, the ecodome had its own washroom with shower (inside the ecodome) and a bbq with a little kitchenette in the attached shed. A little close o he main road though so not super quiet. Still, very impressed with our first " glamping" experience.
I had a great time the dome was an amazing experience. Great stop freindly people

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
It was good for a last minute place. Just a comfortable tent, but the service was good and I was able to get service after opening hours because the lady was nice. I'd visit again for a nice cheap place.
We were there for a bed to sleep in for 2 nights. The bed
pillows & beding were included. The outdoor kitchen, including dishes, cooking utensils, bbq & burner & fire pit were great. It looked like a great place to camp & stay for longer as there is a rec room with games & a pool.
It had all the necessary camping equipment, even the bedding was clean, and the mattress was really comfortable. It was a campsite where I could just bring my own food and have no problem at all. Even though we arrived late, the owners welcomed us warmly and were very kind. There were various facilities for children to play, such as a game room and table tennis tables, and the bathrooms and showers were very clean. If I have the chance, I would definitely visit again.
Did enjoy our stay.
Happy for the indoor plumbing.
However, being so close to the highway, you can actually hear/notice the traffic at night.
We liked the our little backyard firepit picnic spot... The outdoor kitchen was different but worked out just fine. If No eating in the Geodome is part of the rules, cooking/dining in the rain should have something considered for the outdoor kitchen.
Overall it was a nice little getaway :)
Beds were comfortable , the only suggestion is less scents when washing the laundry , travel buddy was very triggered by all the fabric scents on the bedding and towels. Other than that it was fantastic. Would stay again. Great location !
It's good for the requested price and a unique lodging experience. But there's no denying that the property was cold at night, and the Wi-Fi wasn't the best quality.
