「The hotel was stunning and the staff are very helpful and pleasant. The location is beautiful and ideal for walking in to town centre. The food was very nice, I can’t critique anything about the hotel, staff or service. I gave the amenities 3/5 only because we didn’t stay long enough to use them.」

「We love staying here, so close to the beach, the shops and town, it has been our fourth stay, one of our stays was not very positive, I had to get housekeeping to clean the bathroom, unfortunately, I had to clean it too when we got back, still had long black hairs in the bath, all over the floor, the sink. I love this place for an away weekend but please pay more care to cleanliness」

「We love Herons Retreat, we have been many, many times! Well over 15 times, so that shows how much we love it.」

「It’s decent, needs a bit of maintenance work. Our room wasn’t super clean, bits in the bath and the cupboards had black marks on them. Hallways smelled a little of manure … The drinks were expensive too… Half the spa facilities were not working… Otherwise, the peacocks are a nice touch and the landscaping is beautiful. Staff are nice and helpful」

「The rooms had bugs , there was air conditioning outside on the landings but inside the rooms were disgusting no air conditioning we were sweltering and uncomfortable all night I would never stay here again beware」
