Nice stay in conveniently located hotel. Reasonably sized car park but can fill up quickly and on street parking not good. Only single-glazed windows (presumably because hotel is in a conservation area?) so external noise levels quite high at times

Old comforts

My room was as far away as you could walk in the old building and the shower was small, so narrow I had to suck it in bigtime and turn sideways to get in and out while protecting the little fella, but it served its purpose. Breakfast was great, so much to choose from. Good bar too. The staff were brilliant very accomodating. I would go back but get a different room.

Stayed at The Hand when canoeing the Aquaduct. Hotel was comfortable and cheerful. The staff were great and the food good.
