「This was only a one night stay, but we would have been happy to stay longer. The property is lovely. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast. We slept well after a long day of travel to Costa Rica. The room and shower were clean and the view was spectacular. 」

「Highly recommend The Retreat hotel! It was gorgeous and the views breath taking. The staff was very attentive and kind. Will definitely go again. The tours were over priced though. ~400 per tour and while the locations were beautiful it was not worth that much money. Also note there is no food you can buy except for in the restaurants there. So grab some snack at the airport. But highly recommend this place. Even in the rainy season it was amazing 」

「Basic accommodations but clean. The staff takes good care of the visitors and made our stay comfortable. Secluded location but great for hiking and disconnecting from the busyness of day to day life. 」

「Amazing stay. The resort is beautiful and very well maintained. The setting is truly incredible. I was looking for rest and relaxation and I can't imagine a better setting for that purpose. The pool is beautiful. The view is spectacular. The tea room was such a pleasant place to watch the sunset. Food was excellent and service was prompt and friendly. 「If you’re planning to escape the city’s chaos, this is the perfect place to do it. Waking up to the soothing sounds of birdsong and the gentle cascading of a waterfall is an incredible experience. The staff, including Eric and Carla, are incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. The only inconvenience is that it’s located far from everything and everyone.
