"We were really excited about this stay having read all of the reviews but ended up disappointed. We received a room upgrade which we were grateful for but the room was very tired, particularly the bathroom area which had a handful of areas of damage. The room was also dirty, which we pointed out with photos to staff and they kind of asked us why we had looked for dirt (which we found when we moved a unit to plug a charger in) and there were multiple hairs in the room. "Eden Atenas is a wonderful place to stay. The included breakfast every morning is nothing short of incredible!!! The staff was so nice all the time and were always available to answer any questions we had about the area. Our hot water went out on day 2 but the host graciously moved us to a cabana with instant hot water. If you get the chance, upgrade to a cabana…100% worth it"

"What an amazing spot! Only a few minutes drive from downtown Atenas, but you feel like you're miles and miles away, up in the hills in a secluded spot with an amazing view. The hosts at the hotel were exceptionally kind and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and they had loads of great dining recommendations to offer. We'll definitely stay here if we find ourselves back in the area. "

"If I could give more than 5 stars I would. What an amazing magical place! The hosts are the sweetest in the world and made us feel like family. I got a tour of their garden and it was magical! I learned so much and I would come back here any time I could. Honestly, the best Vrbo/host etc experience I’ve ever had and I am so glad to have met them. Also the best sunsets you’ll ever see, and please check out the La casita restaurant it’s close and to die for!"

"Before everything I want to be clear that the property manager that lives on site-Adilia, is so nice and wonderful! With that being said, this property was equal parts fantastic & a nightmare. "The apartment was a good size and comfortable. Pool and rancho area are a great place to relax. There was a congenial atmosphere with other guests- several of us were there for a month or more. The family at the property were very welcoming and helpful. But because they have several VRBO listings, there was some confusion about which units I had rented. Ultimately, it all worked out."
