"We loved our stay at Hibiscus with our 1yr old son. The lovely team gave us a travel cot, toys for our son and the animals (chickens, ducks, dog) were a hit with him! It walkable (even shorter drive with easy parking) to the beach, easy walk to town. We only wished it had a pool and it would have been even better but that’s our personal preference not an issue with the property. Would highly recommend staying here. Staff are so lovely"

"The grounds were beautiful. The pool was warm and clean..a car is needed as there is not many places that are safe to walk to. The description says there is a beach, there is no beach on property or walkable. We had an amazing dinner at Portale nearby recommended and arranged by owner. "Majestic views, stunning sunsets and easy access to the town of Zambrone, Tropes and Pizzo. This home is lovely modern with a fine, workable kitchen, tiled bathrooms and comfortable rooms. With a large community pool (shared by a few homes) and lots of lounge chairs, we enjoyed sitting outside where bright flowers and tasteful landscaping dotted the perimeter of the property. It was spotlessly clean and check in easy."

"We were 9 and had a great week at this villa. The pool area and pool house is where we hung out most of the time. Close to many beaches and Tropea. I would recommend for a large group that wants to relax and enjoy the Calabria weather by the pool. The communication with Francesca and Mimmo was great, very responsive when we called."

The interior and exterior are clean and well appointed with new furniture and modern TVs The picture is very deceptive as the beach is a few miles from the property and the private beach club is the absolute worst one in Scalea. This is not a beachfront apartment like the listing states. This is fraudulent advertising and we will seek credit. The people are very rude and do not like to honor the vouchers from Kalispera. "Pretty farmhouse with a great pool and nice views. Staff speaks mostly Italian, we communicated mostly using google translate. During the day the farmhouse is very quiet, but in the evening after 2230 they organise wedding parties which can be vey loud and take until 0230AM. "Wir haben im Oktober einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht. Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist, was aufgrund der Lage in 270 m Höhe gut war. Anlage war sehr schön, weitläufig und sauber. Insgesamt sind ca 15 Zimmer/Wohnungen da, ein schöner Pool, der bei voller Anlage für alle ausreicht, wenn man auch an den Strand geht. Der ist allerdings nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen oder man ist gut zu Fuß. Parkplätze am Strand im August wahrscheinlich schwierig. Die Tiere sind nicht zum Streicheln! Pferd...

"A clean and minimal but charming with thoughtful details. Very friendly staff and good breakfast with many options. A 10 minute walk away from the touristy downtown area; it’s a nice walk along the beach. And it’s far quieter. The room has three large windows facing the ocean. Gorgeous view and nice breeze. "This is a lovely hotel in a great location…10-15 minute walk to the old town with restaurants and shops. The ocean views are wonderful with chairs all Ali g side in order to enjoy it. The ocean is reachable by a staircase…lots of stairs but I felt safe using them. Our room was large, beds and pillows were comfy. The room was cleaned every day. Breakfast which was included was delicious with lots of variety. The staff were all very friendly. Francesco is the bartender and was always there when we wanted a drink and snacks. He made great Mai Tais. There is a small pool…about twice the size of a hot tub. This little pool came in handy for me when I reached the top of the stairs from the beach…very refreshing. Beautiful outdoor lounges and table and chairs. My one complaint would be their hair dryers…just a nozzle really with hot air. Other than that, I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel. "
