Expect a slight slope in the floor, and don't forget to close the windows before you go to bed as the monkeys are sneaky and will steal any fruit that you leave on the dining table. A fun night. "Das Hotel sollte Expedia aus dem Programm nehmen. Das Zimmer war schmutzig, verstaubt. Das Bad riecht übel. Kein warmes Wasser. Das fenster im Bad liess sich nicht schließen, dadurch besteht die Gefahr dass Mosquitos ungehindert eindringen und das in den Tropen. Im Flur liegen tote Insekten, Kakerlaken. Insgesamt ist das gesamte hotel schmutzig und heruntergekommen auch wenn sich das Personal bemüht. "

"Avoid this hotel at all cost. Room is infested with insects, bed bugs and mosquitos. We spent 1 hour just killing insects and sanitising the room before we could unpack. stained bed sheet and hot shower only lasted less than 10 mins and next day still no hot water, electricity supply was on and off at night, the worst was that the hotel manager did not even respond to our messages. In the hall way along the staircase, it’s full of dead wasps lying around. Also we found hair in our dinner...

"This place is magical! Truly a stay in the jungle. There’s no road to the cabin so the last part you have to walk on the railway. However the staff were really helpful and carried our suitcases the whole way - so do recommend to pack lightly. The place was amazing and the staff were so kind and helpful. Highly recommend! "

"One of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka! The host was very welcoming and it was a pleasure getting to know him and talk about his country. We were greeted with tea and biscuits on their balcony which has jaw dropping views! You are right in the middle of nature with the mountains surrounding you get easy to get into the centre of town. The room was clean and nicely decorated with a lovely balcony and with the same wonderful view. We had a delicious traditional Sri Lankan breakfast as well. Would highly recommend! "
