The location and the view were excellent. However, the room did not meet basic standards. The room was dusty, the mosquito nets were dirty and had holes, and it appeared that the area under the bed had not been cleaned for years. The bathroom was poorly maintained and there was little to no warm water. The complimentary breakfast was extremely simple with very limited options.

Stunning view

We really enjoyed our stay at Belmount Ella. The view from the rooms is absolutely stunning and the staff were very attentive. The room was nice, but the bathroom was rather basic and there were some damp smells

The view from this hotel is lovely. Rooms were nice, kettle and toiletries provided. Walkable to Ella town (albeit a steep road). Bathroom not the best - poor water pressure, smelled like damp. Breakfast and sevice was good.

The view was amazing at Belmont it was absolutely breath taking and the rooms and washrooms were very clean. The breakfast was good as well. The only caution to look out for it there’s bugs that come in the room at night through the door to the balcony if there’s so hidden spaces, but if u stuff a bag or something in those spaces it should be okay.

The view was absolutely amazing, but unfortunately the hotel booster pump was directly above our room, & could hear it running all night. The booster pump noise was completed by the smell of the septic tank coming through the bathroom vent, adding to the negative experience of the hotel. The hard mattress and the lack of bedding was the icing on the cake. You’ll probably want to find different accommodation.

建物、お部屋、ホスピタリティどれも最高なので、ぜひ泊まってください❗️ 街中から少し離れていますがpickmeで車を手配できるので問題ありませんよ。 チェックインの時のウェルカムドリンク＆スイーツから可愛かったし、バトラーの方も常に気を使ってくださいました。 テラスで頂いたアフタヌーンティーは最高でした💕 またエラに行くことがあれば、絶対にここに泊まります❗️

Die Aussicht der Zimmer oder im Restaurant ist unschlagbar. Das Zimmer hatte bodentiefe Fenster mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Außerdem war unser Zimmer sehr groß und die beiden Sitzsäcke super zum Chillen auf dem Balkon. Das Personal ist liebenswürdig und aufmerksam, super hilfsbereit.

Ich habe ein Superior Zimmer gebucht und war überwältigt von der Aussicht! Die Ausstattung ist gut und das Zimmer ist perfekt um aus dem Bett den Sonnenaufgang zu beobachten. Es ist etwas abgelegen aber etwas ruhiger ist als im Zentrum. Vom Hotel aus ist man in wenigen Gehminuten (5-8 min) auf der Hautstraße. Leider muss ich einen Stern abziehen, da es im Bad sehr viel Schimmel gab.

Bra utsikt från rummet. Men mycket getingar på balkongen när det är mörkt, vilket inte är personalens fel, men det låg döda getingar på balkongen och även inomhus på morgonen och det var ingen städning så jag fick fixa det själv. Hade de bara haft en kvast hade det hjälpt. Väldigt få eluttag och små bekvämligheter som sänglampa och att ens kunna släcka från sängen fanns inte. Men bra myggnät och skönt täcke, även om sängen var jättehård. God frukost var det i alla fall, godast av de hotell jag hade på Sri Lanka.
