"The staff member at check-in, I believe his name was Ben, was friendly and helpful. He ensured we received the correct room, and assisted us with storing our bikes safely. The room was slightly larger than other Ibis Budget Hotels, and whilst dated, was clean and sufficient. The area felt safe, as it was an industrial area. "For the price I can't really complain, however no power outlet next to the bed is annoying. No toilet brush. Airconditioner front panel filthy dirty, shower extraction fan dirty. No blanket in room. Noisy traffic particularly a lot of Police sirens throughout the night. The Brunswick Tower Hotel for the same price was much better. The only reason I chose the Ibis was because of local prices, and much nearer to Epping."

"The front desk staff was very helpful. However, there is no lift in the property and if you are travelling with large bags then forget it. There should be a cage available to store big luggage on the ground level."

"Staff were very accommodating and professional. Hotel is close to Albert Park Lake and the Shrine with easy access to Melbourne's CBD. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Melbourne."
