「Upon arrival at the Riu, we quickly realized something was off. Our first room had clearly not been cleaned properly—dirty floors and stains on the bedding were immediately noticeable. To their credit, the staff moved us to another room quickly, but unfortunately that room also wasn’t clean. We were then moved to a third room, which at least had the room type and view we had expected from the start. However, it still was not properly cleaned and even had hair in the shower drain. 「Overall a great experience. This was our second trip to the Riu in Aruba, our first trip was 10 years ago to the adults only side of the hotel. We do prefer the family friendly side as the pool is larger and there are more restaurants and amenities to choose from. We did a quicker trip this time, and were there over the weekend and only 2 weekdays. The weekend there was minimal to no construction which was great, and on the weekdays the construction wasn't too disruptive. The only issue was they...
