「Great little, old quirky cottage in a pleasant village! Nice and warm, cosy cottage and a well stocked kitchen with tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc to hand. All facilities including dish washer and washing machine if you need it. Host was responsive and helpful too. On the whole it was very clean, a few things need fixing like tiles outside the back door but it didn’t take away the charm of the place. We visited the pub and the locals were so friendly! 「We (family of 4 with 2 small children) had a lovely stay at this cottage! Very friendly landlord and beautiful welcome package. Basic amenities to get you started straight after arrival like tea, suggar, milk, bread. Ideally situated in a quiet area with horse paddock right next to the cottage. Underfloor heating was very cozy, modern cooking area.」

「We had a great stay and enjoyed both the quality of the cottage and the excellent amenities. The host was attentive but not obtrusive and keen to make sure we had a nice time. Our 14 and 16 year olds really liked the hot tub and the large TV in each of the rooms, there are great views from the tub and cottage.The local Tesco is well stocked and only a 5 min drive away (walkable in 10-15 mins). 「The cottage is excellent, with plenty of parking, a very safe enclosed garden for our dogs, it is very well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable holiday. Paul and Jenny, the owners are lovely, gave us a guided tour of the cottage and where to find things. The welcome pack was very nice and much appreciated. Thanks for everything. We will be returning next year, all being well.」

「Beautiful, well equipped and presented accommodation and although the place is dog friendly it was very clean. It is in a very quiet secluded spot with plenty of birds and two squirrels kept us well entertained.A lovely couple renting the place out and the welcome pack was very appreciated.We will go back again as we both enjoyed a relaxing break.」

「We adored our stay at Owl Cottage. The accommodation itself was lovely and clean, the decor was great and it had fab provisions for a four-night stay. The main draw for us with younger kids was the outside playground, pool and games room and these really didn’t disappoint. As we had a mid-week stay, we didn’t have any issues sharing these with the other cottages. The bbq was fun, and we really lucked out with the weather. The only tiny thing we’d suggest is providing some fly spray / fly tape...

Accomodation was very comfortable and relaxing. With the addition of a pool onsite. The local pubs are only a short drive away, and there are plenty to choose from. We couldn't recommend the cottages more highly and will definitely return in the future.」
