「We booked in so that we could attend the Theatre Royal, which is close by. We wondered whether the parking would be adequate, and it was. We had lunch on arrival. My wife ordered chicken kiev but the dish was really chicken escalopes, but still nice. We liked our room. Temperature control via radiator valves. Very comfortable and clean. The bathroom equipment looked brand new.」

「一方通行が多いので駐車スペースを見つけるのに苦労した。車庫入れの訓練になった。部屋はシンプルだったが必要なものはすべて揃っていたのでよかった。朝食はフルブレックファーストにしたが、特に、焼いたマッシュルームの焼き加減がとてもGOODで美味しくいただけて感動した。また、部屋への出入口に番犬（シェパード）がいたので少々怖かったが、オーナーさんもしくは従業員の方が一緒に部屋へ案内いただいたら、一回で宿泊者を認識して、その後も吠えられることもなく、とても賢い犬と感じた。犬にまた会いたいな。機会を見つけてまた泊まりたいと思います。」

「Perfect for a working stay. 10 minutes from Bury St Edmunds. Accommodation was a touch dated and basic but the breakfast was excellent!」

「Quite unique, or maybe old style operation. Not for the travelers, but seems local people loves their way of service.」

「The hotel is part of a historic inn which was very atmospheric. We stayed in a family room for 3 people and the room was warm and cosy and welcoming as we arrived just before 9pm and it was a bit chilly in the countryside. Breakfast was excellent and in a nice dining room in a genuine rural setting. Service was friendly & excellent.」

「Clean good sized room, towels, kettle, mugs/tea/coffee making facilities and ample breakfasts. Stayed in family rm and lucky to not have other people stay next door so had the shower/toilet to ourselves. Staff were nice, friendly and polite. Flexible in having takeaway sarnies for lunch in place of breakfast. Decor a bit dated and room a little too room, but on the whole felt very comfortable. Thanks 😊 」

「A really welcoming group of people and a quick check in. Typical character building with wonky creaky floors but loads of charm. A bit cold in the room at first but soon warmed up with the heater. Lovely amenities and a great bathroom too. Good pub food for dinner, breakfast was OK (hard boiled poached eggs will always get a point deducted I’m afraid). Will definitely stay again though.」
