「The Marlborough is a pub with tasty food and about five rooms for overnight stays. The staff is outstanding and does everything possible to be helpful. It is on a central street of a very small town, so it can be a bit noisy during the day and early evening, but is quiet at night. 「This was a wonderful experience, very friendly staff who were always ready to help, offering glasses of chilled water in the spacious and well-furnished public rooms and alcohol in the evenings. We stayed in the large Shakespeare room, often used as a Bridal Suite. The spa is great, with a good sized pool, a jacuzzi and unusual sauna. 「Hotel lovely, bar service needs improvement both evenings we had to wait ages for service then he would disappear again no atmosphere either and very expensive, then we were charged a fee for bringing our drinks to our table on top of service which we didn’t see at check out!
