"We sat down in the common area with snacks & our drinks. The staff had the fireplace lit. The rooms were wonderful. We had lunch in the area on the day of check in, we didn’t want to leave our bags in the car. Thank goodness we were able to get early check in. Love this place"

"Right in town and incredibly comfortable and quiet. The room is big so it was great having the fireplace and later the reverse cycle, so a nice option in winter. Gunderoo is definitely small but it’s an excellent option if you want to stay out of Canberra for the night and the food options are great."

"The building looks nothing like a motel more like an abandoned building. When we arrived we found that the light in the bathroom was that dull you could hardly see anything in the room but when I advised the manager she did change it. The single bed I was in had a mattress that was very lumpy with a row of hard lumps down the middle of it like the springs had collapsed and it found it impossible to get any sleep. Also the table in the room was not attached to the base meaning you could not lean...

"Accomodation was good for the price. No curtain on one of the windows so the sun came straight through the window in the morning. Stayed for dinner, overall pretty good. Couldn’t get through the salt and pepper squid, way too salty!"
