"Hotel.com didn’t tell us that the plantation was still under renovation no restaurant no bar. That was very disappointing. And they only have one building open up because they’re under main renovation from the storms of 2024."

Our room was at the second floor and the building didn’t have elevator, so be aware if you have mobility issues or difficulties carrying luggage trough the stairs "

"This little cottage is tucked away in a very nice camground. It seems to host mostly people who reside here. All of our neighbors were friendly and engaging. It has a nice pool area and has lots of activities. The cottage is nicely decorated and very homely."

"room had a small fridge and a large closet rod, would have been nice to have microwave access on property and a safe in the room and a set of drawers. rainfall shower was a bonus. location was good if you wanted to see the manatees which the area is known for (they were rare in march, suggest if you want to see them to go in december) and is less than two hour drive to orlando and tampa theme parks. weeki watchee and the mertailer aquarium are within a half hour drive as well as archeological and other state parks worth visiting to spend your days. definitely go to the ice cream place a two minute walk from the resort for their chubby mermaid."
