"Part of the listing does not match the property. While the attendant was friendly at check in, and the room was clean enough to consider acceptable, the bed was absolutely terrible. We could visibly see the mattress sunk in at the middle when we walked into the room. (The picture of the room on the motel’s website does not show the bed in that condition.) We also did not have the hydro-massage shower head that the website claims is there, which is not a huge deal, but the water would not even turn all the way to hot. There were no blackout curtains or drapes of any kind. The room had blinds. The motel is located on a busy street, so there was street noise (revving engines, loud music, and sirens) throughout most of the night. While we appreciate the “old time” charm of the property, it could really use a little TLC to make it better - starting with the mattress in room #3."

"The staff was very courteous but this was the most rundown hotel we have ever stayed at. I wasn’t expecting a ton of frills but the entire property was extremely run down, the room looked nothing like the pictures on the web, the towel rack in the bathroom had very clearly been yanked out of the wall and never replaced so there wasn’t even a towel rack to hang up wet towels??? Towels were cheap and bad, sheets were awful and 100% polyester, and it seems like every single plant on the property was dead or was a plastic plant that had spent five years being bleached in the sun. The bed was horribly stiff and uncomfortable. This is the kind of place you bring someone to stay when you’re cheating and down want your spouse to find you."

"Great place for what we needed. The house was overall clean, beds and furniture were comfy and conveniently located to downtown Ocala. The only downside was the water was not super hot in the shower. Also the parking spot that is dedicated is as soon as you turn into the driveway on the right. We struggled to find it when we got there but we arrived late. There is a sign on the house."
