"Finding Sandity was an amazing house on the beach! We are a family of 4, so the house was much larger than what we needed and we had plenty of room to spread out. The house had everything we needed (note the house does not have a propane BBQ). We sat on the deck each morning watching the dolphins play in the water. We were not able to use the pool for the first few days of our trip due to the cooler temperatures. However, once the weather warmed back up, the pool was wonderful. The beds and bathrooms are all great, everything was very clean! We enjoyed playing pool in the evenings, too! We saw the wild horses every day on the beach, which was so incredible! On our last night, they came up to the house, so we watched them from the top deck, what an amazing experience!!On a side note, driving on the 4wd beach and dunes is no joke. We were prepared, but it was not easy. We saw many tow trucks every day, so you can always get "unstuck." Also, highly recommend stopping at the grocery store before you get to the house!"

"We had a great time at Sandsquatch and are looking forward to doing it again! Host was very communicative, easy access to get in, clean rooms, and loved loved loved sitting on the porch after a day on the beach watching the horses come by. The views are phenomenal, and a pet-friendly home made the vacation a great, relaxing, fun time!"

"The Salty Anchor is absolute perfection! The house is exactly as pictured! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need and the selection of games, books, and beach activities just adds to the experience. The house is in an incredible location with immediate beach access. The 4x4 ride on the beach just adds to the charm. We saw horses every day either off our deck or a short walk on the beach. The sunrise was glorious and the sunsets breathtaking. We traveled with 3 families (6 adults and 6 kids over the age of 10) and we had more than enough space. There are ample bathrooms/showers and plenty of seating indoors/outdoors. We were never crowded on the beach it was lovely just walking out the door and over the dune to the beach. You won’t regret booking the Salty Anchor. We are already talking about visiting again!"

"The property was absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful time. Hot tub broke but that can come with anything you rent. When we messaged the owner/host she called us right back and had her handyman there to fix it. Unfortunately there was more than one thing wrong so we did with out it the last few days. The house could use a deep cleaning but overall it was a great time for sure."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful week at the Seaside house. For a beach house in the sand it was as clean as it could be. So convenient to have a bathroom for every bedroom! We had 7-9 people, never had water pressure issues. Plenty of dishes and utensils. Lots of games and books. The property manager was super responsive and helpful. The 4x4 beach was a new experience for us, I don't think we would want to stay any further up the beach - the soft sand ruts got pretty big and hard to drive on. We only left the house twice for that reason. Our older people struggled with the sand dune path - the beach passes were great to have. There was plenty of shopping in Corolla we would have explored if we were in town. But it was all worth it to see the horses up close - they walked right by us on the beach several times. A beautiful experience!"

"A wonderful relaxing beach house with a perfect location. Horses visit daily, easy walk to beach (do not cross the dunes!!), great pool, and our favorite of all - the top deck facing the beach with more Adirondack chairs than you can ever use!! Pure chill. Great hosts too, communicative and friendly."

"We could see and hear the ocean from the house. The location was fantastic. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook for the week. The only thing that I would say was not great was the water pressure but I am certain that is due to the location of the house. The house is very family friendly and has lots of space. We would highly recommend it. We saw wild horses in the front yard and very close to the house. Very special place. The beach was a VERY short walk and was absolutely beautiful. The house was also stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. I can’t say enough good things about it. "
