The Salty Seahorse!4x4 beach, private dock, hot tub, pool, Horses. Pet-Friendly
10/10 Excellent
"Winter getaway for me and my wife. Very quiet this time of year. We saw ponies every day and good birdwatching. The home was as advertised, and we needed to run the heater every day, which worked very well. The hot tub was very nice, but we didn’t use the pool. We recommend the short drive up to False Cape State Park for good hiking and birding. "

New in 2024 Carova Beach Canal Front Home!! 4x4 Required
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely amazing house and property. Being tucked near the end of the road provided for a peaceful and quiet stay. Very relaxing being on the canal and though we did not use the kayaks and pedal boat due to being a very cold weekend, loved the options and would be fun to use during warmer stays. The house was so clean and new. Loved being able to walk on the back decks and enjoy the sights of the canal and the wild horses roaming in the backyard. The wild horses were very active on this road and one day as we were leaving the house, we saw a total of over 20 horses before we even exited the street the house is on. Rick and Casie were wonderful hosts with excellent communication on day of arrival and departure morning. We were in town for the Corolla Christmas Village and the festive touches of a Christmas tree in the home and string lights on the decks added to our Christmas spirit for the weekend. There was even a very cute ornament for each of us to commemorate our weekend at Sound Decisions. When searching for a home, we knew we wanted something clean, quiet, and relaxing with hopeful viewings of the wild horses throughout the stay. This place met and exceeded our expectations and we will be back. "
Semi-Oceanfront, Wild Horses, Pets Welcome, Private Pool, 4x2064, Happy Hours
10/10 Excellent
"Well appointed if well-used house. Lots of room to spread out, and the elevator was a plus to accommodate an elderly family member. Fairly well-appointed kitchen with a very fast ice-maker comfortable beds, and multiple spaces for dining and games. We loved that a big table sat 12 of us for meals. Definitely requires 4-wheel drive, but the location is superb with beautiful views of the ocean and dunes. "
"The place was quite & cozy and the hot tub was amazing. There were games & books. They really thought if everything. I wish the toaster oven & grill was cleaned prior to our arrival. Pleaae make sure u have a true 4x4 Vehicle and arrive in the daytime...no real roads just or traditional signs just sand dunes everywhere. But I enjoyed being slightly off the grid for a weekend."
"Communication was excellent!! House was very clean and very nice! It was over accommodating with everything you could possibly need! Would definitely recommend staying here!"
