"First room (208) was not cleaned. Sheets on bed had makeup on them and hair. Went downstairs and person moved us to unit 316. That room was wide open and not cleaned at all. We were then moved to unit 314. Disappointed that no discount was offer for the 2 times my group has to move belonging."

"I found the property to be dated in decor and not clean (dusty, dirt and crumbs under tables, chairs and couches). It felt uncared for inside. Hope you give this place an upgrade and the care it deserves."

"Nice rooms and the hotel staff is excellent. The restaurant staff seems inadequate from a size standpoint, service should be better and it has been in previous years. Food is delicious, always. The bar has been under renovation for much too long and the old space was fantastic. Hopefully the renovation will be worthwhile if it ever gets completed. The hotel location is fantastic."

"Paid for breakfast in advance. Thought it would be good. Had to pay an extra $20 for the meal and it was a $45 breakfast. Went out the next day. Dinner meal was served across the street at another Marriot."

"Terrible experience. I chose not to stay at the property after entering the unit and finding it had not been cleaned. Dirt on the floors, bathrooms not cleaned, dirt on the sheets, garbage on the floor in both bedrooms. Disrespectful owner. There are far better properties to book in Birmingham. Truly disappointing.
