1) The on-line preferred room view showed the beach right in front of the room while in reality it was a pool view and if we wanted a beach front view it would have cost us another $200.00 a day. However the room was beautiful 2) The room only had one small bottle of rum which could not be exchanged for something we drank. 3) We bought a snorkeling day for $150.00 US at the front desk which was the worst I've ever been on, they boated us out to an area with hardly any fish than dumped us off at a beach near the resort for lunch which was served out of plastic Rubbermaid containers. We ended up walking back to the resort. When we asked for refund we were turned down. 4) Never going back to a Secrets Resort and would not recommend it to anyone

The beach is terrible. Very rocky and almost non swimable. The staff isn’t too friendly or helpful. We got an early check in because we arrived at 1. Ended up not checking in until 430 because our room was being cleaned still. Food was great but took forever to get the food to the table. Small things like those mentioned made this a resort o wouldn’t go back to

We have stayed here every time we go to Cozumel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, many dining options, rooms have been upgraded, and the pool areas and beach area is absolutely stunning! We feel very safe and comfortable at this resort.

There were several issues with our room a few were fixed it really needs an update but it was clean. I like the food options and the smal boutique style of the hotel. Room service was very good . One hotel employee really stood out Marco. Marco remembered my friend kim and i name and greeted us everytime as well as asked if we needed help w dinner or show us where to go,extremely kind man and went out of his way to make our time on the island enjoyable.The dinner on the beach was amazing it was my friends birthday and she felt very special.We loved all the extra touches w the happy birthday in sand and the sign w our names on it .

Our room stunk so bad every time we walked in. The a/c never cooled our room properly. The food was served at improper temperatures… nothing came out hot! Everything was served room temp or below. Minibar was not restocked daily.

I just retuned home from a wonderful solo stay at Secrets Aura. The staff was amazing and service was excellent! I’ve had better food at other secrets resorts, however everything else made up for it!
