The adjoining master bathroom, which is expertly designed and has a modern flair, includes a walk-in shower and comes fully stocked with linens, beach towels, and bath towels.

The living room, which has super comfortable couch and flat-screen TV, is part of the open-concept design, so the kitchen is in full view and the chef is always part of the conversation. There’s also DVD player and your hosts have equipped the home with free Wi-Fi, so you can connect with loved ones back home. As an added convenience, purified water, in-home washer and dryer, and maid service 3 times a week has been included.

The kitchen is, as you would expect, fully equipped with all appliances—including those little must-haves like a coffee maker, microwave, blender, and toaster. The cute little breakfast bar has seating for three, and the lovely dining area seats six.

When you’re ready to take the party outside, just slide open those big glass doors and step out onto your private patio where you can enjoy the scenery and the sound of the tropics.

Right in your own front yard (the patio opens up to the pool and beach areas) is your private beachfront and two freshwater pools, where comfortable lounge chairs, palm trees, palapas and cool tropical breezes beckon you to kick back and relax. You can jump in the ocean for a bit of snorkeling or take a leisurely stroll along the beach and perhaps play a little volleyball, Frisbee, or rent a jet ski.

You can also arrange for a SCUBA diving or glass-bottom boat snorkeling adventure, so you can see the underwater world of this incredible island. Your guide will pick you up at the nearby pier, and whisk you off on an offshore adventure.

If the pools and ocean aren’t enough water for one day, you’ll also have full use of the jetted hot tub. There’s a SCUBA and snorkeling rinse tank for gear plus two outdoor showers to wash away the salt and sand. And it’s all surrounded by a manicured landscape of lush green lawns and tropical foliage.

When you’re ready to shake things up, head to the main street of downtown Cozumel, a 15-minute drive away. The waterfront is alive with activity day and night because it is one of the primary ports for cruise ships as well as the ferry terminal. You can shop, dine, drink, and people-watch to your heart’s content—there’s no shortage of action on the promenade.
