Fantastic place for a diving vacation. On site dive shop and lessons. Small quiet resort with the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. If you are looking for a lounger on the beach, this is not the place for you, but if you are looking for a comfortable place to base your dive adventure from. This is where you should be.

If you're a diver, you should be here! Get off the boat, or out of the pool and you're 10 steps to your room door. Great staff, great food, highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Blue Angel Resort on Cozumel! The room was a little bit dated, but the beds were comfortable and really had everything we needed for a great stay. We especially loved the beautiful ocean views, being able to snorkel right out front, and yummy breakfast at the attached restaurant.

The Blue Angel Resort is now our home away from home. It has everything for divers and even non divers. Beautiful resort, right on the ocean, with views from every room. A fantastic dive shop with the best staff who made sure we had the best diving experience. Already planning our return trip, we can’t wait!

Nice place if you dive with them as well. Rooms very clean and bigger than I thought. Maybe adding more surface would be better and road noise is bad but I had ear plug.

El lugar esta bien, pero no es nada fancy, es como un hotelito familiar, la gran ventaja es que tienes acceso directo al mar (no es playa, es para snorkelear), la comida en el restaurant es muy abundante

Excellent small resort dedicated to divers. Not very many left on Cozumel with decent shore diving and an onsite dive shop. Loved the shore dive, both day and night. There is a big fence next to the Blue Angel that contains big nurse sharks and stingrays the cruise ship people come to snorkel around with but you can see them through the fence and get good pictures. Some reef rock right next to shore (virtually no hard coral, like most of Cozumel now) but other life around them. The base of the stingray fence is the most interesting, especially at night with snake eels, lobster, sleeping parrotfish, feeding sea cucumbers and lots more. Boat dock to jump off of for shore dives and good ladder to get out. Pool needs a paint job, but is clean and nice. Restaurant is amazing. Great breakfast with room and other meals amazing as well. Not huge selection, but some nice dishes. Room was challenging, AC barely makes it cool enough. Have to close bathroom door to help keep leaky window from hot air coming in. Very bad street noise. Righ on the main road and speed bumps next to the resort get the loud deceleration and acceleration of motorcycles and cars every night until midnight. Earplugs a good idea. Staff amazing, take car of your gear on and off the boat if you rent equipment. Dive Masters and shore dive shop staff very helpful. Will be going back again.

The staff and restaurant were great. The hotel was clean, rustic and a dive resort. Great amenities for that. My only complaint is one of the main roads is right next to the resort. I mean right there. The road noise was at times very very loud. Not sure who drives the unmuffled motorcycle at 3 am most morning but ugh! The sunset views from our patio were awesome. Best part…no cruise piers in your line of sight. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The view from our room was excellent. The staff was top-notch. The whole property was very clean. The dive operation functioned like clockwork. It might be time for some light maintenance here and there, but everything functions as it should. Perfect place for divers. Maybe not so perfect for a non-diving wife, lol.

Staff are very helpful and kind, food is good for breakfast and lunch, didn't try dinner. Rooms are very good for the price and the location is fabulous for diving and swimming. Facility is tired and could use some investment but overall very pleased based on value.
