Covent Garden Market Tours

Covent Garden Market which includes outdoor eating and a city as well as a large group of people
Browse stalls for everything from jewelry and furniture to locally made cheese, then catch a show at this daily indoor market.

Shop for fresh produce and artisan goods and glide across the ice rink, all under Covent Garden Market's roof.  Although the market building has changed several times over the years, vendors have been trading in this location since 1835. There are many stalls to check out and they are all on the same floor.

Walk along aisles lined with florists, chocolatiers, bakers and stalls selling organic and ethnic foods. Sample produce from one of the largest assortment of cheese vendors in southwest Ontario.  Buy art, furniture, pottery, textiles and jewelry created by Canadian artists. From May to December, look for fresh produce at the farmers’ market. It is held on Thursdays and Saturdays in the square outside the market building.

Relax with a coffee and bagel at one of the many cafés or try the international cuisine on offer at a selection of restaurants. If a day walking around the city has left you aching, treat yourself with a visit to the market’s massage center.

View art exhibitions that are occasionally held on this floor. During winter, keep the family entertained with some ice skating on the temporary rink. Throughout the year, the market hosts a number of community events including music and theater festivals. They take place on the mezzanine level or in the public square. Visit the market’s official website for up-to-date information.

Covent Garden Market is open every day with shorter opening hours on Sunday. It is located on the corner of King and Talbot Street in central London and benefits from good public transport links. During the week, parking is free for the first 30 minutes in the market's parking lot, provided your ticket is validated. On the weekend, parking is free for the first two hours.
