I arrived to the hotel after a late night flight, the first staff member was helpful in getting me checked in. "The cabin was an excellent calming retreat listening to only the sounds of the birds and nature. The steps up to the cabins can be a bit steep (up to 30cm/ 12 inches) but assuming you are there to hike Park Tayrona it's a good warm up for the trails in the park. "My overall opinion regarding the hotel was good. However, the bed and pillows were a little hard. The AC turned off around 3 a.m., which made it difficult to sleep during the night. The staff and service people were really nice and friendly. The buffet food was not very good, and it was cold considering the price they charged. The location was good and convenient for walking around."
