"The woman at reception was incredibly helpful. The road to Selva was closed the following day and she found suitable public transit options and let me check in early. The hotel also prepared a box breakfast as I had to leave early the following day. Definitely far above and beyond what I expected. "Residence Settsass is located in the centre of Colfosco right next to Sassongher mountain. You can access hiking trails literally from your door step. Appartements are modern, fully equiped, clean and cosy. Staff is friendly and speaks atleast English, German and Italian. Staff didn’t try to push any services but where really helpfull with everything we were looking for. Even though it is near the village centre the neighbourhood is very peacefull. "

The only downside was the unexpected bill at the end of our stay, you are obliged to have have board however this does not cover the daily evening meal menu, we had to pay a rather large supplement which was a bit of a shock.
