The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. The room key was heavy, like a 19th-century antique. All modern hotels have magnetic cards, but this one was much more tasteful.
Most stores and restaurants in Cortina d'Ampezzo close in October, but the restaurant at this hotel had good food.
The breakfast buffet was not luxurious, but it was sufficient.
Bath water pressure was good. Small room without aircon but ok this season. Request for mountain view room not acceded to.
Was at Cortina during low season. Many shops were closed. Dinner and lunch options were limited. But scenery is captivating.
