「The location could not have been better. Walk out the back door to the beach. The room was a nice size and clean. It felt a little tired and I think the entire hotel could use a little refresh. It was very hot and humid when we were there and the in room air conditioning barely kept up. It was ok and not hot in the room but never got close to what I would say was cool/cold. The staff were wonderful and helpful. The onsite restaurant food was average and we were happy to have it.」

「Staff was wonderful with room upgrade due to property repairs, daily cleaning, and a toilet clog. WiFi speed needs serious improvement and pool could use umbrellas for shade. Location is spectacular, right off the beach. Put the kitchenette to good use while staying with children.」

「The staff was nice, and overall- it was clean. My room was not, and the bathtub had chipped paint all in the bottom of it. The linens had a funny smell, but I was stuck here so to unforeseen circumstances with my flight being diverted here instead of Houston. The hotel served its purpose for me to get a few hours of sleep and I felt safe.」

「The staff was friendly and helpful. Especially the breakfast. It was hot and there was plenty of it. I love when bacon is offered. Don't see that every day but it was a nice treat. The young man working the buffet was very helpful and pleasant. He catered to an older gentleman who needed some assistance. Went out of his way to be helpful to him. Only issue was some wet carpet around the HVAC and refrigerator. Other than that, it was a great stay. Can't beat having a ground floor room...

「This was our first time staying at an Atwell Suites and the hotel looks nice, the room was spacious (no cups in the room- I guess bring your own), bed comfortable, and breakfast was fine (a little awkward set up, but food was fine). The main complaint we have is the cleanliness in the main part of the hotel. We were there 4 days. The carpet in the hallway was never vacuumed, which it needed. The main tile floor from the rooms on the first floor to the lobby was never cleaned in spite of dirt and...

「This resort needs major repairs . It’s only 6 years old but deterioration is quite obvious . Pictures online are not a true depiction of what you see in a studio room . The only thing worthy is the pool . You do not have access to the beach as the dunes are so high you cannot crossover unless you are a very young adult . Once again resort not explaining or disclosing any information regarding accessibility to the beach」
