A bit dated and worn (threadbare armchairs), belying the photos online, with a very minimally equipped kitchen (great microwave with crisping feature though!). But, the front desk and housekeeping staff were very responsive and quickly fixed any deficiencies. We were disappointed to find out on arrival that the AC was out of order (a long-standing problem about which we could have been notified to allow a decision to relocate), however a fan was provided, and with a balcony door and windows that opened the room temperature was comfortable. Location was great - a half hour walk to the Viaduct Quay and Ferry Terminal in one direction, and the Auckland Domain in the other, with a huge selection of shops and restaurants along both routes. Overall: clean, safe, very spacious room, conveniently located, and excellent value for the price. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Check in staff were amazing. Hotel and room immaculate. From cleaning staff to restaurant staff all were very friendly. Only two little gripes The metal bar was missing from fridge door so couldn’t stand anything up After returning from the military tattoo it would have been nice to settle down and have a drink in the bar but it was closed - a thought for the future perhaps? Overall a great experience this is our third stay here and will always return

From the moment i walked in to check in. I felt valued. Very friendly staff, comfy bed and pillows. Thanks for great stay.
