Grand Mercure Puka was absolutely stunning. The staff were so attentive, the little cottages were clean, bed was very comfortable, was a quiet relaxing stay. The on site restaurant was excellent. Definitely would stay again

Very helpful staff. Lovely cosy room in amongst the trees. The dinner in the restaurant was also very good; however breakfast could be improved (pastries were stale and healthier options were limited)

The amount of Steps to room was a bit of a surprise, glad it was not raining, Room was A1, View was bush so no view but this was expected. General staff were good special call out to our waitress Amelia who looked after us over our 3 day stay, very professional and helpful everything that makes a normal stay into something special. also Lauren and Zade who also stepped up to make our stay great. Overall well worth the stay.

Tranquil setting, very tidy premises, amazing views and friendly staff. Thanks Heather and Zade for looking after us on our stay. Note to guests restaurant and in-room dinning closes at 8:30 currently and no robes or slippers available. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - we will be back for some more cedar hot tub!

Very restful setting. Wouldn't suit people with a cessibility issues although a buggy can be booked for transport to and fro. Comfortable and convenient accommodation.Great shower. Loved the private deck overlooking bush. Beautiful pool area. Would go again.

I had an amazing solo getaway. The staff were lovely and really helpful. They let me check in early which was a nice surprise. I particularly enjoyed the heated pool and spa and the close proximity to the beach and pauanui hike. The staff also showed genuine care and told me to be careful on my way down from the hike as it can be slippery when wet. I would definitely come again

Special stay

The grounds of the property are beautiful and we enjoyed using the amenities like the tennis court, pool and hot tub. It was also very nice that they would lend items like shovels for use at hot water beach free of charge. I enjoyed the stay.

This resort is very unique…it’s like staying in a treehouse! Very comfortable and quiet. Pool is great! They even have free laundry, which was most appreciated. Make sure that you can walk stairs and hills if you want to stay here. We would come back in a heartbeat!

This is a stunning property. Peaceful, natural, and impeccable staff and service. Located near a beautiful beach, a rewarding hike, and in a very relaxed town. Lovely pool, sauna, and cedar hot tub as well. We loved our stay and will recommend it without reservation!
