"The staff was amazing. This hotel is in DIRE need of some love. Rooms are old and falling apart. I booked a room “with a fridge” only to arrive and find my room did not have one. I had medication that needs refrigeration . I was switched to a new room, but it smelled so bad I couldn’t stay. Moved back to original room and just used ice overnight to keep my medication cold. If I wasn’t in the middle of a 2000 mile trip and exhausted, I would have found a new room. "

"This was a gem! We booked it last minute for the eclipse. I did not expect an entire apartment for the price I paid! 10/10 great room, comfy bed (that's a lot coming from an insomniac) kid and parent approved breakfast, nice communal space and well Located. "The staff was pleasant and friendly but the hotel was not up to par. Room was clean but needed TLC , the floors were nice with vinyl hardwood so that was a plus( I don’t like carpet in hotels!), most areas were in process of some type of either demolition or construction ( really couldn’t tell) it was non smoking but smelled of smoke in the halls, which wafted into our room. "We arrived for a 2 day bike trip on the Allegheny Trail. Unfortunately, the weather chose not to cooperate. The house was so clean and would be perfect for anyone who wants to bike the trail.We left a day early because the severe rain, there was no chance of biking. It was a place for me and a friend to stay over the Easter weekend, but would be an ideal setting for a family gathering, hunting camp, or just a pleasant getaway from busy city life.
