「The Sleep Inn of Clarion is our go-to place to stay on our trips east. Being right next to I-80 makes it very convenient. It is always clean & well-kept and staff are always friendly & helpful. The hotel has undergone extensive renovations - flooring, bedding, TV’s & bathrooms are all new. 「The staff was amazing. This hotel is in DIRE need of some love. Rooms are old and falling apart. I booked a room “with a fridge” only to arrive and find my room did not have one. I had medication that needs refrigeration . I was switched to a new room, but it smelled so bad I couldn’t stay. Moved back to original room and just used ice overnight to keep my medication cold. If I wasn’t in the middle of a 2000 mile trip and exhausted, I would have found a new room. 」

Room was clean but needed TLC , the floors were nice with vinyl hardwood so that was a plus( I don’t like carpet in hotels!), most areas were in process of some type of either demolition or construction ( really couldn’t tell) it was non smoking but smelled of smoke in the halls, which wafted into our room. 「The property was exactly as described in the listing, immaculately clean, quite comfortable, and perfect for my needs.
