「This hotel was right on the beach. You almost got the feeling that it was too close to the water, but that is ALL of the appeal for the price. If you are looking for that beach campout feel then you will love it. The drive in the property is a dirt road with mud puddles very easy to miss the turn. There is seurity guard at night which is a must for the location. The rooms are treated concrete with decor. No tiles. Good AC and Wifi. The morning walk on the debri clutter」

「The room was very clean. Staff is attentive but not as responsive as one wishes. It takes some time to be served drinks/food. Dogs are obviously accepted. They roam around the property sometimes not checked by owners. The property in general is a great spot but it does feel tired. Chaise lounges are “well used”, towels as well. There is some need of TLC to revamp the whole property. In general, a good, safe, clean location to discover the beaches around the area. 」

「I arrived and let them know for check in. Although room check in was at 3, it wasn’t ready until 330. Afterwards, the WiFi in the hotel wasn’t working during the duration of our stay and the water in the room was not hot. The room was very clean and the pool had a nice view. Breakfast was good. 」

「Expedia is not updated for check in process. It is not Ganesh Hotel, it is village lodge. Regardless, we were redirected to the right place in village lodge and had the most amazing attentiveness and service by the owner, Caro, and our hostess, Luisa. Very beautiful beach loft in the middle of the jungle and 50 feet away from the most gorgeous secluded beach. Recommending this place to anyone who travels to Samaná. Not for people with disabilities or children.」

「Balcones del Caribe is a beautiful spot with an excellent location and easy access to the beach. The complex feels very safe, and the staff were always helpful when we needed general information. My only concerns were about the condition of the village: the back door didn’t have a proper lock, the bathroom door wasn’t closing well, and the safe box wasn’t working during our stay. Overall, it’s a lovely place with great potential—just needs a bit more attention to maintenance.」
