"The staff was excellent! Jahaida and Latoya made the stay extraordinary! The hotel’s location for seeing plays couldn’t be better- literally within 100s of feet to almost all of the Broadway plays. "

"The room was very nice and the staff was overall lovely. The heat in the room did not work properly and my room temp was between 58-78 degrees with setting the thermostat at 70. Plus the heat rattled when one keeping me awake. There is a mini fridge but no microwave to reheat food. No coffee or tea service available in the room. Also, the pool is not easily accessible. "

"Perfect location! Close enough to time square yet far enough not to be noisy and over crowded. We didn’t have a shower curtain in our room and didn’t notice until midnight. The staff moved us to a suite for the inconvenience and turned our average stay into a phenomenal experience. Great customer service goes a very long way! This will be my hotel of choice going forward while in New York! "

"Real old school NYC,real good vibe!"

"This location is PERFECT for either a Times Square visit or a tour around Rockefeller Square. There was plenty within walking distance of the hotel to do, including food, events, and bars. The room was clean, the lobby seemed clean for the time we were there, and the staff we talked with seemed friendly. My only real complaint is that there are no clear signs telling you that you need to take the elevator to the lobby. Obviously it’s easy enough to figure out, and there were staff downstairs to tell us, but it might be harder for someone unfamiliar with the area, culture, or if someone isn’t downstairs to assist in directing them. "

"Property was under repair. Also, TV did not work peoperly and repairman could not repair it. Finally, on a very warm and humid day, hotel "did not turn on air conditioning"(?) and the room temperature was very uncomfortable. Location of hotel next to Winter Garden Theatre was convenient."

"The location of this hotel is great, you don’t get the craziness of Times Square but you are right there, easy access to trains, and plenty of food options around. The staff if friendly and kind, the bed/pillows are comfy. However, it is an old property (as half of NYC), the rooms have been remodeled, but it shows. Small rooms and bathroom, and my biggest issue was the noise, probably because I was in the 4th floor and my room faced the street - I can say by own experience- NYC IS indeed the City that never sleeps. I barely slept in 4 days. All in all, not a bad option if you get a room in the back of the property. Price is fair."
