We spent over a week in Alberta in various establishments from lodges to hotels to motels, and my whole family agreed that this was the place we all slept the best. It's not much to look at, but it's extremely clean and quiet. Great outdoor pool and indoor hot tub. Easy walk to the grocery store. Otherwise Golden is a boring little place, but that's not a criticism of this motel. Our only setback was that it took quite a while to get checked in because nobody was at the desk. I called their number and after several attempts the gentleman came running in very apologetic for making me wait. Smooth sailing after that. "
