「The room was spacious and clean, the beds were very comfortable. The shower had grab handles which made it easy and safe to use. The hotel location was convenient and had plenty of parking. Highly recommend.」

「Room layout was terrible. No fan in the bathroom. Air conditioner not working properly. Acted as a loud fan, but didn't cool the room. Discovered this too late, and decided to cancel our second night, but the staff refused any reimbursement for either night. Said they couldn't do anything because we booked through Expedia.」

「Room was as clean as this very old motel can be. Had a muggy smell so had to air it out a bit. Mattress was comfortable but the sheets were very itchy But the towels were new and plush so that was a bonus.」

「The rooms are clean, the staff are very friendly. The motel is very old and needs renovated. There were no drawers to put things. Not enough plug-ins for the appliances. Very poor water pressure. The host did say that they are planning to renovations. I hope so as it has been a place I like to stay as it is central to everything.」

「This place is ideal if you know what you are in for. I appreciated the location, once I realised it was 22 km from Golden, up a soft dirt/gravel winding road, away from anything. I did not receive the email from the property advising me of all the details until after I arrived to check in, because I was away from wifi and cell signal. 「What we liked: Although our room was on the second floor, we could drive up and around to the back so we could park right in front of our door and not have to take any stairs. The room was pretty clean and comfortable enough. There were a couple chairs on the balcony so we could sit outside. This may sound a bit weird , but it was handy to have a shelf/nightstand on both sides of the bed we used (and not just one between the two beds in the room).
