"This was such a great hotel for our family. The kids had fun at the arcade. The pools were the perfect temperature. Hot tubs were great. We had such a relaxing time. My only critique would be that I wish the bar across from the arcade was open and our room didn’t have AC."

"The staff did a wonderful job and was knowledgeable with the questions we asked. Greg was on hand most of the time we were there and had our car to us withing 2-3 minutes. He offered us a lot of suggestions and ideas to do around the area. He was defiantly a very nice person to talk with. Our room was not ready when we tried checking in at 3p and again 330. Unfortunately, our room was not ready until a bit after 430P when told it would be no later than 4p. Our room was clean and cleaning staff did an excellent job. The only thing that we did not enjoy with our room was the mattress and pillows. Both were very old and lumps in the bed and pillows. This was not comfortable. The Mountain View was more of the park area in back for the dogs with trees. It was very nice though. Breakfast was good and a good value. The only thing I did not like about breakfast was that they were out of the scrambled eggs. I had asked for them to bring out more but told it would be a while before they were ready. By that time, they were done serving. All in all, I would defiantly stay here again. This property is very nice and a very short walk to Vail Village. Restaurants and shopping were all in this area. "I was returning from an alpine adventure in the San Juans and wanted to break-up my drive back to the Front Range. I've stayed at the Glenwood Springs Hotel previously. This hotel has an enjoyable indoor pool and hot tub, and the area near the hotel is very safe and walkable. The room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk attendants were very hospitable and inviting. There were a few things that should be repaired in the room, to include the bedside light switch that probably just needs to WD-40 to make the switching process easier. I don't think an elderly guest would be able to switch these lights on/off. The shower rod is also shaped in the form of a U-curve, so the shower curtain slides to the center of the bar, despite trying to clip the curtain holes to the end of each side of the bar. My primary concern is the $10 parking charge incurred upon each hotel guest. Glenwood Springs is not a major metro area, where parking space is a premium commodity. Why are you charging guests this additional fee???"

"Perfect studio condo for 2 people. Comfortable couch and chair and a complete compact kitchen. Front desk person was super nice and very helpful. Great location, convenient to walking the river walk and many restaurants. Plus a free bottle of wine! Would definitely go back."
