Decent but for the price can find better
The Hotel is decent. The room is well equipped and is clean. The breakfast staff is very nice. I also had breakfast there and liked the options that they had. The Portuguese receptionist (Mr. Paulo) was one of the most friendly people that I've ever talked to. What could be improved is the wifi. I was not able to get any reliable internet connection. The 4 days that I stayed there, the internet was just slow. This is hard because I was on a business trip and I needed internet access. Another point that I didn't like, was the receptionist in the morning. The breakfast opened at 7am, and I had a meeting at 8am, so I was a bit in a rush to get breakfast. The breakfast place is not in the same building as the hotel. I arrived at the reception at 6.58am and because they only open the reception at 7am I needed to wait 2 minutes for her to tell me where the breakfast place is. Note: She was already in the reception but refused to talk to me. I don't understand why she couldn't simply tell me, also I didn't appreciate her reply. When I asked for the breakfast place her response was: "Go down the street, and look for number 99". I'm not from here, so I don't know which side does the street goes down. (The street is flat). Also, a lot of people party and they arrived drunk at 2 or 3 am making a lot of noise. One of the nights someone was so drunk that they didn't know their room, so they knocked at every door.

Avoid at all costs... seriously.
Urine soaked, unhelpful, refused to refund, absolute nightmare, the reeption isn't even close to the rooms themselves! It would be laughabley bad if I hadn't thrown up from the stink of excrement in the rooms.

We stayed for 10 nights in a double room, overall the room was clean and had nice decor set in a fantastic location if you are staying for the intention of going to the Lanxess Arena as we were, also very close to several super markets which was convenient, our room had a really large window spanning the width of the room which could be opened fully which helped keep the room cool during the hot days, also made a nice make-shift balcony to enjoy some fresh air and a drink in the evening. Price was cheaper than all of the competition in that area. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was quite basic however which made our extended stay quite difficult to manage, no tea+coffee facilities in the room but was offered in the reception for a cost, also no bar but alcohol was available from a vending machine for a fair price. Overall we'd stay definitely again for a short stay as its good value for money however for a longer stay I'd recommend somewhere with some extra amenities in the room.

Unable to check in
No check in facility upon arrival at 11pm, so the business guest for whom I booked the room was not able to check in, hence stayed somewhere else.

The staff was friendly, and the property was clean. However, the room was only slightly larger than the bed. The shower and bathroom was not private and was shared with other guests. If we had known it was a shared bathroom, we would not have booked. It felt more like a private room in a hostel, than a room in a hotel. A hotel should always have a private bathroom and shower for every room. The room itself looked nothing like the room in the photo. It was tiny and cramped and the bed was uncomfortable. We could feel the wooden slats through the mattress. I would not stay in that room again.

It's more of a hostel than a hotel - hadn't realised we'd booked a room with a shared bathroom - for the cost, you would have thought you'd get an ensuite - obviously miss-read the information as was in a hurry when making the booking

Disgusting!!!
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was crawling with bedbugs and when I explained this the man at the desk replied with “there is nothing we can do, you’ll have to sleep there” I was left with no choice but to stay as it was 10:45 at night. I checked out the following morning having stated up all night in a chair. They told me I would have a refund and I have not heard from them since. I had to spend more money on alternative accommodation. My recommendation I’d avoid it at all costs!!!
