"This home was great for our family and traveling with our dog. The view was UNMATCHED, and we have been to many a lake cabin in Texas. I could not stop taking pictures of the sun. My kids loved the property and it had so much outdoor space for them to adventure. The fenced area up by the house was perfect for having the dog out which was a nice surprise. Beds were also so comfy that I need the same ones at home. Owner was quickly responsive with every point of contact. Thank you for a great stay! "

Check-in was quick, friendly, and efficient, and every team member I encountered was courteous and professional. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-appointed — everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The bed was incredibly cozy, and I really appreciated the modern touches, from the big-screen TV to the spotless bathroom. The housekeeping staff clearly takes pride in their work. The complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with plenty of hot and cold options that were fresh and well-stocked. The pool area and outdoor seating were also great for relaxing after a long day, and the location is perfect — close to restaurants, stores, and the main highway, yet quiet enough to get a peaceful night’s rest. Overall, Best Western Plus Riata exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s clear that management and staff truly care about their guests’ comfort. I’ll absolutely be staying here again the next time I’m in Brownwood — highly recommend!"

"We slept in the loft are and you definitely want to be agile able to bend. If kids sleep uo there make sure theyre careful enough to go up and down the ladder. The space it lself was very clean and cute for a couples weekend"
