"Upgraded to an ocean view suite so that was nice. We were literally only there for one night before a cruise so didn’t get to use room much but it was comfortable. Modern style furniture but no safety deposit box which was unusual. The outside corridors could probably do with a bit of updating, looking rather tired now. Nice pool area with a lazy river but pretty noisy and busy in the afternoon. Some rooms opened onto this area. Would suit families but I would not of liked this type of room. Nice little bar that sold very reasonably priced drinks and cocktails. Had a good food menu. Breakfast was adequate buffet style, pretty good choice. The reception staff were particularly helpful and friendly. Great for a one night stay. "

"Room was clean but bathrooms (especially the tubs) and facility needs upgrading bit it is an older hotel so we knew it wasn't going to be a 5 star. We were looking for a place to stray in Cocoa Beach and close to the port so this is why we chose LaQuinta"

"We had an ocean view room with a balcony overlooking the pool. The room was relatively small, but we don't spend a lot of time in the room when we travel. That being said, it provided everything we needed. The staff was amazing. They were attentive and always quick to respond to any questions we had. Breakfast was perfect (fresh fruit, mini quiche and freshly baked muffins). Everything was delicious. The location allowed us the opportunity to walk to many places of interest. It's easily walkable to the pier (where we enjoyed a drink while taking in the beautiful view of the ocean). We would not hesitate to stay here in the future."

"The outside of the hotel is very nice. The inside needs some work. The rooms smelled from the humidity, (which they gave us some spray to help with the smell). The paint in the bathroom needed to be freshened up."

"The staff was very friendly, the grounds could use some work, you can tell they’ve made some upgrades to the rooms. The bathroom of my room was disgusting. There was body hair all over the shower walls from someone that wasn’t me and it was more than just facial hair. If your looking for place to stay for a guys trip while your in your early 20’s this is the hotel for you. If your desperate for a place to stay go one night this is an option just don’t have high exceptions. Would I stay here again? If it was a quick one night stay that was just a place to sleep maybe, but next time I’ll probably pay the extra $20-$30 bucks and stay some where else. "

"The bartender at the pool was great. The room was okay. Not a huge fan of the barn door for the bathroom but the location was great!"
