The staff were welcoming, helpful, and made the stay feel effortless. The amenities were convenient, and the overall atmosphere was calm and pleasant. "There was a plenty of free parking close to the hotel. The hotel could do with some repairs and general tidy up, the overnight price was reasonable so not expecting perfection. Dining options are limited unless you book, we had quite a distance to travel so didn’t want to book and miss the slot. Breakfast service has a good choice but again it’s advisable to book, not quite sure how they cope in the summer months."

"Overdelivered in every respect. From check in where our dogs were welcomed with their own beds and hamper, to a delicious dinner in a lovely atmosphere, followed by a night in an incredibly comfortable bed and a top notch breakfast.....we loved it all."
