"I checked in at 5:30pm and my room was not ready (despite the website saying check in was at 3pm). When I went up to my room after checking in, the door was propped open and the beds were not made. I found housekeeping and asked them to finish my room which took about 30 minutes. Later that night, I found stains on one of the bed pillows and on one of the top sheets. Lastly, there were a bunch of middle/high school students staying at the hotel for a school trip and they spent the whole night running up and down the halls, slamming doors, and having loud conversations in the hallway. I will not stay here (or any Ramada) again."

"My overall stay was acceptable, but it did not meet the level of quality I expected based on experiences at other hotels in this category. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was satisfactory. However, some of the fruit, particularly the apples, appeared old and unappealing. The most significant concern was the condition of the property. The second floor appeared to be undergoing repairs, but the hallways and even the guest room had a noticeable musty odor. In addition, the bathroom ceiling had peeling paint, which gave the room a worn and poorly maintained appearance. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were quite firm, and there was no extra sheet available in the room. While the hotel fulfilled its basic purpose and the location is very convenient, the overall condition of the facilities did not reflect the quality I expected. This property has great potential, and with improvements in maintenance, cleanliness, room presentation, and attention to detail, it could offer a much more attractive and memorable experience for guests. I encourage management to invest in these areas, as the location is a strong advantage and the hotel could become a much more competitive and appealing choice for travelers."

"Stayed May 28th - May 31st We were in town for my friend's wedding and this was one of the hotels noted on their "Wedding Knot" invitation. We didn't really interact with the staff much except check-in Thursday evening and checkout Sunday morning. The guy who checked us in was polite. The lady who checked us out was doing the minimum; didn't ask how was the stay, if we needed anything (a car, help with luggage, etc.), or even thank us for staying. We were surprised to see that our room didn't have a microwave. The housekeeping staff only cleaned our room on Friday morning and didn't refill the coffee cups, coffee pods, nor sugars. The room could definitely use a thorough & deep cleaning. We attempted to have breakfast in the restaurant on Friday morning, and since we were on vacation we wanted to indulge in the mimosas offered on the menu, however, after waiting for almost five minutes at the table we were told that there was no prosecco available so we kindly excused ourselves, tipped the server a couple bucks for her time and went next door to the Hilton for breakfast and mimosas. When we were leaving on Sunday morning, my boyfriend ordered a coffee from the Starbucks kiosk in the lobby, and not only was the young girl that was working that "not in the mood to be here", she also made my boyfriend's coffee completely wrong. For $13, I told him to give it back and get what he actually wanted, but he was just ready to go at this point. Overall, our stay was about a 3.5/5."

"I stayed at Penn Harris for one week. There is an outdoor pool (I didn’t use) that looked nice. I like that there was plenty of parking, a restaurant and bar at the hotel. What I didn’t like was that they only had cable TV with a few channels, no laundry facilities on site, no elevator, rooms are dated and dark, and hotel smells musky."
