"An amazing place! Our room was clean and spacious. They have a beautiful common lobby and kitchen where you can hangout and interact with other guests. The fridge had a basket for every room, so you can store your perishable food items, very convenient and thoughtful! And as the name suggests, there is a mountain right behind the property. We saw Aoudads, mule deer and a roadrunner. The road leading to the inn from the main street is a bit rough, but driving slow takes care of it. Overall, this is a highly recommended place to stay if you're visiting Fort Davis! "

"The house was great however the town didn’t have many restaurant options. I would suggest planning to cook in when you stay unless you’re willing to travel to Marfa or alpine every night for dinner. "
