We enjoyed our stay here greatly. The cabin is a perfect size, and it seemed to have everything we needed. At one point, my wife realized she needed to use scissors, and viola, there was a pair in a drawer. Being able to make our own coffee each morning was fantastic. We needed both the AC and some heat during our stay and that worked flawlessly. I guess because it was spring break it was quiet all around us. We loved the retro-style refrigerator. We didn't really use the little backyard and observation deck, except to take a sunrise photo on our last day. It was a wonderful place to stay in a gorgeous part of Texas.

Outstanding Ft Davis Casita!

Property was exactly as advertised! Great location, and perfect for my 2 night stay! Comms with Matt were very good, and everything I needed was provided--highly recommend, and I will certainly stay there again!

This casita is in a good location to drive the Davis Mountains and Fort Davis museum. It was clean and had all the essentials you need. It even had coffee for the guests to use. Bed was comfortable. The casita has only one room and a bath but the main room has a couch, dining set and TV along with the king size bed. The biggest negative is the bathroom is very small. It could use a shelf over the toilet to put your toiletries. Also needed is instructions on how to set the heat/AC. Suggestions are minor. Overall, this is a cute place to stay.

Great location for day trips

Perfect place to stay especially if you want to explore the area . We hiked the Davis Mountains, checked out the McDonald Observatory, swam in Balmorhea Spring fed pool and had dinner in Marfa. All super close by.
