Cutest little historic hotel! We loved walking the town - ate delicious pizza next door! Cant comment on the staff as we didnt need them. Instructions to get in the hotel were simple. The kids loved all the games to play. I believe there was one or two other guest rooms occupied..we slept soundly! Easy to find the roll away bed with extra linens.

Staying here was quite nice. Good beds and AC, parking easy. For the money and for Fort Davis (we went to the McDonald's Star Party) it was great for our purposes.

Our stay at the Drugstore Hotel was truly unique—an amazing experience from start to finish. Everything we saw in the photos came to life, and honestly, it was even better than we expected. My son absolutely loved it—he said he would happily live there forever, playing games and enjoying every moment. That alone says so much about how special this place is. We felt incredibly welcome throughout our stay, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax and fully enjoy our time as a family. Highly, highly recommended! We will definitely be back and will book this place again on our next trip. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!

Room was clean and had everything we needed. I needed to lock the windows when they started whistling as the wind kicked-up from the cold front that came through. Timing was not too good for us as only limited eating choices were available in town on Tuesday and Wednesday, the two days we were in Fort Davis. But they were good and also were a good value.

Hotel has no on-site staff. You have to call a # that isn't available to you until you get on site. I had to get the rollaway bed by myself. Extremely creaky floors make it impossible to have a quiet stay.

The hotel's floors squeaks badly. It someone was walking in their room other rooms could hear. No one on site to help anyone. We thought there was a restaurant downstairs and it was closed. We were looking for the old soda shop vibe. I think the hotel did not advertise correctly. Other than that Fort Davis is a great place.

No muss, no fuss…. It’s a bed to sleep in.. it was clean, air conditioned… never saw a human, all instructions were clear and easy, plenty of towels, soft bed…. Kind of strange place, very large building without anyone in it… if you had kids was plenty to do, ping pong, pool board games.. etc I would stay again if I was traveling through

We were unable to check in because the owners did NOT send the access code to their property. I emailed in advance (3 days prior) to confirm and was told they would send the code the day of checkin at 8 AM. It did not arrive. I sent another email, still no response. By the time we arrived at 5 PM, again nothing. There were 2 numbers to call. One was posted on the door and when we called we were told it was no longer in service. The other phone number we called the mailbox was full. We had no recourse except to drive to another town and pay for another night at a hotel. The Fort Davis people did not respond until 7 PM that evening via an email to say they had no reservation for us which we clearly did..

Had the most amazing 4 night stay at this charming place. Quiet, lots of games at the lobby, always has it to ourselves to add, loved the dining area where it had a microwave-perfect place for eating the food we brought with us, room 6 was absolutely charming, comfy beds! spotless. Our room also had a fridge, microwave and coffee. Loved that we had Sleeping Mtn for our view-our dogs loved looking out the window. Great stay for our doggies too. I would go back. Lots of eating places next door,across, nearby. It was perfect for us.

Clean spotless room easily accessible using key codes sent in advance. Lots of space to hang out with friends. Easy parking. One drawback was religious literature left in the room felt less welcoming.

The room was fantastic. Space theme. I was going to the observatory so it was absolutely perfect. I had the entire place to myself. The staff is offsite within a 15 minute drive. Easy entrance and exit quiet slept like a rock that never happens.
