「All of ashburys excellent place to stay 」

「Staff all excellent, there was an issue in the car park which needed sorting out which Evie did very efficiently and with good humour. I ate in the restaurant very good food , Evie and her colleagues attentive and pleasant throughout. Room was clean tidy and warm, I slept well. Thank you very much 」

「We really enjoyed our stay. The property was within walking distance of the city center and the host even offered to drive us to our appointment one day which we really appreciated. The room was perfect and fit our needs. Would stay again when visiting Chichester.」

「Room was clean, spacious and nicely furnished, modern but in keeping with the age and style of the building. Breakfast was fantastic, with a really nice menu to choose from. All the staff we met were super friendly and helpful. Great location for visiting Soutsea and surrounding area. Would definitely recommend paying the extra for a parking bay at the front of the hotel as street parking could be tricky. We stayed to visit family in Southsea and will definitely use this hotel again!」

「This is a lovely old building is close to everything on the sea front - 5 minutes walk to the Historic Dockyard (it has close views of the Spinnaker, the harbour, and HMS Warrior). The bus and train stations are across the road, and the shopping centre is no more than 10 minutes away. Add the free car park, friendly staff, cosy atmosphere and comfortable rooms, plus the big choice of places to eat within half a mile, and you have the ideal hotel to stay in when visiting the Portsmouth area.」

「Room ok, but peeling paper above window and broken window catches and broken lamp shade by bed (window side). Bathroom needed a plug for the sink, mould on ceiling above the bath/shower and mastic should have been removed from the tiles (near sink and over bath) where soap dispensers had been removed. No brandy at the bar. Chips supplied with meal were luke warm (nobody came to ask if things were OK). Had to ask for full breakfast to be reheated. Stayed here before, so rather disappointed this...
