Take an easy drive up to Lake Allen in Cherry Log and there you will find Log & Leaf! Walk on to the main deck, with its cozy spots for lounging and morning coffee, and then enter into a chic new professionally decorated, and reimagined cabin! The open living area is the place to gather your group around the fire after a day of adventure, and the brand-new kitchen is calling out to all chefs to break it in and make some delicious meals. There's a wonderful dining area inside and also an al fresco picnic table and a new gas grill out on the deck, so there are plenty of places to make some special memories!

Other things to note
After each guest, we thoroughly clean the hot tub to ensure it's in pristine condition for your enjoyment. However, please note that the hot tub will not be immediately heated to your desired temperature upon your arrival. It takes some time for the water to heat up to the desired temperature, so we ask that you adjust the temperature as soon as you arrive if you plan on using the hot tub during your stay. The hot tub should never be set above 104 degrees for health reasons.
Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damage waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $1,500. Damage due to smoking and pets is excluded. To benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out.

There's no shortage of activities in this wonderful area. Ellijay and Blue Ridge are both incredible small towns with antique shops, taverns, breweries, farm-to-table restaurants, and more. There's truly something for everyone in these beautiful mountain communities. Tour the award-winning vineyards (Engelheim, Ellijay River, Cartecay, Serenberry) or all the surrounding breweries and orchards like Mercier Apple Orchard. Visit Fall Branch Falls or bask on the water with plenty of tubing, fishing, or boating. Maybe cross that water over the famous Toccoa Swinging Bridge! Conquer the mountains on breathtaking hiking and mountain biking trails. Seasonally, enjoy the Blue Ridge Railway, local festivals, and other activities. And just a note, you can't take a trip to Cherry Log without dropping by The Pink Pig - our favorite spot for BBQ – or the Bigfoot Experience – both just down the road!

PARKING
The roads to Log & Leaf are paved but can be curvy and narrow at times. There is space for two cars to park comfortably and for three smaller cars. Depending on the size of your vehicles, it may be easier to park parallel to the retaining wall in front of the parking area as opposed to perpendicular.

★HOUSE RULES★
This property requires a separate rental agreement to be reviewed and signed after booking. A link to the full agreement will be sent through the Airbnb message thread in your booking confirmation. It includes guest and property details, stay dates, fees, house rules (e.g., no parties, no smoking, pet rules), cancellation terms, and guest/host responsibilities. Please note that check-in instructions will only be released after the rental agreement is signed.
☞︎ No smoking is allowed (including vaping) anywhere on the property. If you smoke inside the home you will be charged $500. You will be charged an increase in a cleaning fee, and you will be charged for any damages.
☞︎ Person booking and checking in must be at least 25 years old to reserve and must occupy the rental property throughout the whole booking.
☞︎ No parties or events are allowed. We are located in a residential community and, although this may be a vacation destination, the area is predominantly families and professionals. This is doubtless part of its appeal to you too! Between the hours of 10pm and 8am noise should be kept to a minimum.
☞︎ Maximum occupancy of 8 people (6 adults max). Off-site visitors are not permitted without prior permission and are subject to a $100 fee per extra guest.

☞︎ No pets allowed. We love our furries as much as you, but no pets are allowed due to allergies. If you sneak in a pet of any kind you will be charged an additional $250 and you will be asked to leave.
☞︎ We follow our stated cancellation policies under all circumstances. We highly recommended guests purchase travel insurance to cover weather related issues (tropical storms, hurricanes, etc.) and illnesses that may arise and interrupt travel.
☞︎ If an item is left behind, we're happy to help return it. A $75 flat fee applies to locate, package, and ship forgotten items within the continental U.S. Payment is required before the item is shipped. Additional fees may apply for oversized, heavy, or expedited shipments. Items not requested within 14 days may be donated or discarded at our discretion.
☞︎Unapproved late checkouts may result in a $50 fee per hour (or partial hour) past the scheduled checkout time. If the delay interferes with the cleaning schedule or the next guest's arrival, additional charges may apply.
